Congratulation to Matt and Jena Moeckl on the birth of their daughter, Rebekah Rose. "Bekah" was born on January 9 in Des Moines, Iowa, was 20.5 inches long and weighed 6 lbs, 13 oz.
Matt is the new Student Ministries Director for Central Region as of January 1, 2012. Jena is the daughter of Joe VanDenBerg, MAK District Director.

Harold L. Ford, 89, long-time Open Bible Minister in Davenport, IA, died Thursday, December 29, 2011.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at 9 a.m. at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Orendorf Cemetery in Canton, Illinois.

Evelyn "Patty" Mae LaReau Baker, 93, of Galesburg, mother of Nadine Groen, died on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011. Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, at the Church of the Open Bible. The Rev. Mark Dexter will officiate. Visitation will be 9-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Knoxville Cemetery, Knoxville. Memorials may be made to the Galesburg Church of the Open Bible. Please be in prayer for Nadine and her entire family.
