We live in a reckless world: and we like it. We don’t want to watch NASCAR drivers go around the track doing 50 miles-an-hour and using their turn signals. We don’t want to watch scary movies where a not-so scary monster steps out into broad daylight and says, “Boo.” We don’t want to see an X-Games biker with training wheels. We want to see someone risking it all and just about the time it looks like they won’t make it, they pull it off. That’s why there isn’t a professional touch football league (The NTFL?)

One area of our lives where we don’t tend to think, “recklessly,” is in our relationship with God. Most people don’t get an adrenaline rush when they think about church. Church is safe, Christians are boring, and God is warm and fuzzy (and not too powerful). But – that’s not the God you read about in the Bible and that’s not the lifestyle that Jesus invites us to. Jesus made the most reckless decision that could ever be made (you can read about it in Philippians 2:5-11) in order to change your life, and He calls us to recklessly follow Him in how we think, talk, act, and live. Comody Speaker: Joey Ilo 2005 Regional Winner of the Sierra Mist “Search for the Next Great Comic”! Joey’s comedy career is growing at lightening speed! He chooses to do clean comedy and brings a quality act that is great for everyone! In recent months he’s started “The I.L.O. Comedy Show” which is a standup comedy variety show with top talent in standup and musical guests. The show is similar to “SNL” and “Premium Blend” (on Comedy Central). The show is monthly at Club 3 Degrees in downtown Minneapolis.

House Music: DJ Tek DJ Tek hails from the great state of Minnesota where he is a regular DJ at club 3 Degrees. He will be spinning and scratching the turntables all weekend long.
